Chapter 14 - Couldn't Ask for More

"Hi Althea!" I called her. She smiled at me.

"Hi Kevin."

Donghae greeted her too.

What is this guy doing here?

"So everybody is here already?" the team head asked. Everyone looked around and nodded. "So let's go!"

Today the ship docked at Roseau, Dominica port. I purposely got this excursion since I love outdoor sports and I knew Althea would be joining this too.

We rode a service shuttle which would transfer us to Dominica's capital, Roseau. This excursion would last for six hours. 

"We're here!" the team head said. Everyone got off the shuttle and waited for instructions. "Now that we're here, each one should have a buddy. So get your partners!"

I grabbed Althea before Donghae did. "Let's work together okay?" I said, smiling at her. Althea was shocked at first but then just smiled and nodded. I looked at Donghae and he looked pissed.

First come, first serve dude...

A Caucasian lady approached Donghae. "Can you be my partner?" she asked him. "I'm Kelly." 

Althea looked at them. Donghae agreed since he had no other choice.

We started the trek. Donghae's partner dragged him in front. She must be thinking this was a race. Althea remained silent and looked at them. The girl was kinda clingy to him. I wonder if she's another fan.

"Hey, Althea," I distracted her stare at the partners in front of us. She looked at me with facial expression asking what I wanted to tell her. "Have you tried this before? I mean, trekking?"

"Ah, this is actually my first time. I've never tried it before," she responded.

"I see. I love outdoor sports especially mountain climbing and trekking. I would try my best to help you."

This would be at my advantage. I'm sure that kpop star doesn't know anything about this activity. I bet all he knows is to perform. Good thing Althea is with me. She's surely in good hands.

"Thanks," Althea said.

We continued walking. I couldn't stop looking at Althea. She really looked pretty today. She was wearing casual denim shorts and checkered blue polo shirt with white undershirt. She tied her hair in a ponytail. To complete her look, she wore a black cap and white rubber shoes. She dresses simple but for me it's beautiful and sexy.

"Hey Donghae," Kelly said. Her voice was loud enough for us to hear. "You're a Korean, right?" Donghae just smiled. "I've heard that girls in your country call guys 'oppa', is that true?" Donghae nodded. "I should call you oppa too, right Donghae-oppa?" She was acting cute.

Althea coughed as she heard her last statement. She tried to suppress her laughter. The blondie stopped walking and looked at us and Althea hid her face with her cap. I just smiled. She then continued to walk. I saw Donghae also trying to suppress his laughter. It seemed that Althea and Donghae understood each other. I think I understood what they were laughing at. This blondie is pretty yet she's taller and bigger than Donghae and to call him oppa with a cute gesture is quite funny for me too. She was wearing a sort of 'cow girl' outfit. I was wondering if she joined the right excursion.

We passed by a river and Althea managed to cross it alone although I offered assistance. Althea tried to make it through alone and I was very impressed. I believe she's not your average girl. She is smart and brave yet she knows her limits. Sometimes she would ask for my help if she has difficulties like climbing a steep road. She would also tell me to stop for a while if she's tired or thirsty.

We reached the sheltered platform and saw the Trafalgar falls which was a panorama of tumbling twin waterfalls. We took pictures of the wonderful creation in front of us. We had a picnic lunch at a nature-surrounded outdoor cafeteria. Donghae and Kelly joined us. Kelly was flirting with Donghae. Donghae kept smiling and was so professional in his actions even though I know he doesn't like her. I realized how good is he in fanservice.

After 30 minutes of stopover, we got on the Rain Forest Aerial Tram. There were four people per tram and in ours were me, Althea, Donghae and Kelly. We watched the beautiful hanging garden and was amazed by the everlasting resilience of the rainforest canopy, which according to the naturalist guide was unexplored prior to the establishment of the tram. We then crossed over the 300-foot Breakfast River Gorge.

"Wow!" Althea exclaimed. She has kept saying how amazed she was to see these nature's creations. "I've never really appreciated nature until this trip!"

She took off her cap and fixed her hair. Although her hair was messy, she still looked perfect for me.

Althea decided to get off at tower 19, which was the Final Station and I followed her. Even Donghae and Kelly. She wanted to walk along the 84-meter long suspension bridge. While walking, we saw waterfalls, there were four all in total. We kept talking about our lives and anything under the sun. I saw Donghae looking at Althea while talking with Kelly. I knew he really liked Althea and was dying to be her partner. Too bad he wasn't. We then passed the Chatannier Nature Trail and boarded the gondola to return to the Base Station.

"That was really fun, right?" Althea said. She really was enjoying this trip. She looked very beautiful as she wiped her sweat at her face.

Oh God, please give this girl to me... I really want her... I am madly in love with this girl...
