It's good to see him again.

I already planned our meeting but I never thought it would be this way. I never expected him to meet our son at the concert. And I've never imagined meeting him again at the backstage carrying Aiden.

Things do happen when you least expect them.

Donghae ran back to us after bidding farewell to the other members. I could hear their shout before he left and it believe he already told them the truth. 

He carried Aiden and we started to leave. I kept looking at his face. He looked so happy. I was relieved to see his reaction to the news. I thought he would not be able to accept it easily. Aiden was already tired and sleepy since it was almost midnight. He rested his head on Donghae's shoulder and started to fall asleep. 

We were about to reach the basement exit when someone called Donghae. We stopped and looked to see who it was. 

"Donghae."

"Eunseo-ssi," he responded.

It was Son Eunseo, Donghae's past lover. I was shocked to see her in person. She is so beautiful and sexy. I felt insecure. I already prepared myself before, knowing it could be possible that Donghae has a new love when we meet again. But still, it really hurts.

"Are you leaving? That's the child who went upstage during the concert, right?" She moved closer to them, not minding my presence. "Ah.. He must be tired." She caressed Aiden's hair and face. "Are you assisting them in getting a cab? You're very sweet."

"Eunseo-ssi, why are you still here? It's already late."

"I haven't had my dinner yet. I was hoping you could join me."

I started to feel irritated.

Can't she see me?! She didn't even greet me!

"I'm sorry Eunseo-ssi, but I can't be with you tonight. Please go home."

I saw a flinch in her facial expression but she changed back to a smiling face.

"It's alright. I'll just see you around then. Bye," she said and left. We both looked at her as she went inside the car that was waiting for her outside.

"Althea, let's go," Donghae said and we started our pace towards his car. He placed our sleeping child at the backseat. Donghae started the engine as we positioned ourselves at the front.

We were both silent during our travel. The atmosphere between us became awkward after seeing Eunseo. I wanted to ask him about them but I didn't want him to get angry. I don't have the right to his personal life. 

When we arrived at my dorm, he parked at the basement area to avoid people especially fans seeing his car. I suggested the idea to him. He carried Aiden until we reached our unit. It was a good thing that there were no people around since it was already past midnight.

I showed Donghae Aiden's room. He carefully placed him on his bed. He was already in a deep sleep so I didn't bother waking him up for warm bath. I took of his shoes and changed his clothes to pyjamas. Donghae assisted me. I tucked him under his blanket and kissed his forehead. I turned off the lights, leaving his lamp on and left the room.

I went out of Aiden's room and Donghae followed me. He looked around my apartment especially the picture frames on the wall and even on top of the table. I avoided eye contact with him because I was not comfortable.

I should not fall for him. He may still love Eunseo and only wanted Aiden that's why he came with us...

"Hey, I'm so sorry but I can only prepare ramyun at this hour. Is it alright with you? I believe you have not eaten yet," I told him, still avoiding eye contact.

"It's alright," he said and sat at the dining area.

I headed to the kitchen to prepare food for him but before I could take a few steps, I felt arms wrapping me in a backhug. I felt Donghae's breath on my neck.

"I missed you so much, Althea," he whispered.

I was so shocked at his gesture. I could feel my heart beating so fast, as if it was about to jump off my chest.

"W-What are you doing?" was all I could say.

"I never stopped waiting for this day to come. I waited for you for a long time." He tightened his grip and I knew I was trapped. I didn't know what to say or how to react to it.

"But, Eunseo..."

After hearing my statement, he quickly moved to face me.

"No, no please don't misunderstand!" he became defensive. "She only came to me today. And she said she wanted me back. But I don't like her anymore! I want you. Only you..."

I felt my face burn at his statement. I felt so happy hearing those words. I thought he already let me go and moved on. I wanted to cry but it would be too embarrassing.

"Thank you," I finally spoke to him. I smiled at him and he got my point.

"I love you Althea," he said.

"I love you too, Donghae."

He kissed my lips gently and hugged me. We decided to cook ramyun together and had a midnight snack/dinner together. We talked about what happened to each one of us when we were separated. He shared his experiences in the military service and even after he was discharged. I told him everything about Aiden, his first smile, when he started to walk and his first word. It was already 3am when I realized the time.

"Let's go to sleep. You will still have a concert," I told him.

"Can I sleep beside you then?" he said.

"Well, I don't have a guestroom and another bed. Also, I can't let an idol sleep on the couch. So, I don't really have a choice." 

I saw his smirk as we stood up and went to my room. He looked around and chuckled when he saw my Super Junior collection in one cabinet and most of my album covers are his. 

"You really love this guy?" he said as he pointed my 5jib album.

"Of course," I said. "Please don't ruin anything there."

He laughed at my response. I changed my clothes after a quick shower and gave Donghae a towel so he could shower to. I was too tired so I lay on my bed and rested. I didn't know that I already fell asleep. 

When I opened my eyes, the sun was already up and I almost fell of my bed due to shock. I couldn't see Donghae beside me and I thought he already left. I somewhat felt sad, thinking he didn't even wake me up.

I stayed lying on my bed, thinking about everything that has happened. A few minutes later, I heard a knock on my door. The first person that came to my mind was Aiden. 

"Come in!"

The door sprung open and I was shocked to see Donghae carrying a tray of food with Aiden.

"Good morning mom!" Aiden ran towards me, kissed my cheek and hugged me. Donghae followed and placed the food beside me. 

"Breakfast in bed for my beloved!" he said and kissed my forehead. I was so amazed and couldn't say anything.

"Mom! Enjoy your breakfast! Uncle and I prepared it for you!"

I smiled and started eating. They were both beside me, watching me eat. It felt awkward. I fed Aiden some too and he enjoyed the food. After a few minutes, all the food was gone and Donghae and Aiden got the tray.

"We'll handle this mom. Just stay here," Aiden said.

Since when did my son learn how to act mature?!

I decided to just change my clothes and went downstairs. I saw Donghae and Aiden washing the dishes. It seems they already had their breakfast before coming to me. They were having fun together. I felt happy to see the most important boys in my life enjoying each other's company. I'm glad Aiden easily adjusted to his dad eventhough he still doesn't know this fact. After finishing the dishes, Aiden ran to me.

"Mom! Uncle said I could go with him to his dorm! Can we go there? Can we?" Aiden said in a cute way.

"Is it alright, Althea?" Donghae asked.

"Are you sure?" I asked him back.

"Of course. I want you to meet the other members. That is if you have time."

"It's alright with me."

"Yehey!!!!!" Aiden exclaimed and kissed me.
